JEDDAH YACHT CLUB & MARINA ACHIEVES S3 REGATTA CERTIFICATION
Monaco – September 2026 – M3 Monaco is pleased to announce that Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina has achieved Regatta level under the S3 Smart & Sustainable Standard, recognising its advanced performance and its growing role within the Red Sea yachting ecosystem.
The S3 assessment highlighted two particularly complementary strengths: a strong engagement with local communities and a meaningful commitment to marine biodiversity.
These ambitions come together in a particularly powerful way through initiatives introducing younger generations to sailing while marine life, including sea turtles, finds refuge within the marina environment. This connection between education, community and biodiversity illustrates the wider role modern marinas can play beyond their traditional function.
With its iconic architecture, the Yacht Club has become one of Jeddah’s distinctive waterfront landmarks. The Marina itself has developed into an international gateway and an important port of call for yachts navigating the Red Sea, combining high-quality infrastructure with premium services and hospitality.
International yachts and sailing vessels increasingly use Jeddah as a destination and strategic stopover, reinforcing its role within the rapidly developing Red Sea yachting network.
The Regatta certification, corresponding to the Advanced level of the S3 framework, recognises the significant maturity already achieved while providing a structured roadmap for further progress towards the highest levels of the Standard.
